Production Material Handler-3rd shift

Position:                      Production Material Handler

Reports To:                 Materials Department Coordinator

Summary:

A Production Material Handler is responsible for efficiently managing raw materials and finished goods within a production facility. Their tasks include kitting and staging materials, removing finished products, handling incoming materials, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, packaging items for shipment, organizing storage areas, and ensuring warehouse product security.

Responsibilities:

• Kits and stages all raw materials for work center.
• Removes finished goods from each work center.
• Moves materials throughout the facility with a forklift, truck, or similar equipment manual or motorized.
• Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming materials and checks contents against bills of lading and packing list.
• Loads and unloads delivery vehicles with finished products, raw materials and other items.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing product for broken seals and damage
• Packs and wraps boxes or other materials for shipment and attaches appropriate documentation.
• Organizes storage areas and maintains proper housekeeping standards.
• Ensures all warehouse product is secure.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School diploma required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills required.
• Computer skills preferred.
