BAXTER, MINN. — LINDAR Corporation, a leading manufacturer of plastic food containers, was recently certified by the American Institute of Baking International (AIB) for excellence in food safety practices.
For the 12th year in a row, LINDAR earned a “Superior” rating, the highest level of certification available, from AIB’s audit and inspection of its Baxter facility. The certification is recognized around the world, and is known as a measure of quality in food and beverage packaging and manufacturing.
“By being AIB certified, our customers can be assured our certified food packaging practices and procedures are effective and safe, every time,” said Dave Fosse of LINDAR.
Earlier this year, LINDAR also received the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) 9001:2008 certification for quality management systems, a feat only a select group of plastic product facilities in the United States has achieved. Together, the AIB and ISO certifications serve as cornerstones of LINDAR’s quality management programs.
Based in Baxter, Minn., LINDAR specializes in thermoforming food packages, including cupcake, cookie, salad, sandwich and produce containers. LINDAR also makes thermoformed paint trays and custom industrial plastic components for customers across the United States.
